Rclone is an open source, multi threaded, command line computer program to manage or migrate content on cloud and other high latency storage. To integrate GMail with your Gitea system, follow these steps:

1. Generate Google Application Password:
   Obtain a Google Application Password for secure authentication. You can generate one in your Google Account settings, especially if two-factor authentication is enabled.
   
   
2. Edit Gitea Configuration:
   Use a text editor to modify the Gitea configuration file (/etc/gitea/app.ini). Add the following settings under the [mailer] section:

3. Restart Gitea:
   Restart the Gitea service to apply the new configuration:
   
   $ systemctl restart gitea
   
   
4. Test Email Configuration:
   Access the Admin Settings screen in Gitea, and initiate a test email. This step ensures that the Gmail integration is functioning correctly.

Purpose

Using TextPad to log projects or task progress.  Need to insert calendar into the editing text file.

Investigation

• addon - just an console external tool
• macros - recorded actions
• clips - .tcl, but it's not tcl code.  just some format with pre-defined text.

Conclusion

With TextPad, only possibility to achieve the goal is to use addon.  Create custom addon to output calendar, and running it will output to a separate document window.  And just copy and paste the generated text.  It's not ideal, but there is no way to manipulate existing text.

Misc

Install macros

1. From the Configure menu, choose Preferences.
2. Select "Macros" on the Preferences dialog box.
3. Select the macro from the list of available macros.
4. Click Add.
5. Click OK.
