Purpose

Using TextPad to log projects or task progress.  Need to insert calendar into the editing text file.

Investigation

• addon - just an console external tool
• macros - recorded actions
• clips - .tcl, but it's not tcl code.  just some format with pre-defined text.

Conclusion

With TextPad, only possibility to achieve the goal is to use addon.  Create custom addon to output calendar, and running it will output to a separate document window.  And just copy and paste the generated text.  It's not ideal, but there is no way to manipulate existing text.

Misc

Install macros

1. From the Configure menu, choose Preferences.
2. Select "Macros" on the Preferences dialog box.
3. Select the macro from the list of available macros.
4. Click Add.
5. Click OK.

Install addon utilities

1. Configure->Preferences and selecting Tools in the tree. 
2. Click Add-> Program and select the target program.
3. Check HELP document for available parameters.

Environment: Win 10, 64-bit

Installed Docker Toolbox.  It stores VM image on C: drive,
C:\Users\<USER NAME>\.docker\machine\machines\default

Want to move this to D: drive which is a large HDD, to save relatively smaller C: SSD.

1. Decide where to install on D: --> e.g.) D:\cloud_tools\docker\
2. Set up environment variables:
• DOCKER_CERT_PATH --> D:\cloud_tools\docker\.docker\machine\certs
• DOCKER_TOOLBOX_INSTALL_PATH --> C:\Program Files\Docker Toolbox
• MACHINE_STORAGE_PATH -->  D:\cloud_tools\docker\.docker\machine
3. Move everything under C:\Users\<USER NAME>\.docker\ to D:\loud_tools\docker\.docker\
4. Restart PC and try it.

- Install necessary S/W: git, sshd
$ sudo apt-get install git-core 

- Add user

$ touch .ssh/authorized_keys && chmod 600.ssh/authorized_keys

- decide on where repository will be
e.g.) /opt/git-repo
$ mkdir /opt/git-repo
$ chown -R git:git /opt/git-repo

- Install UI
